It is also important to understand that things in Peru do not always work the way travelers may be accustomed to in the United States. Language barriers, local procedures, bureaucratic inefficiencies, transportation issues, and unfamiliar systems can make solving even a relatively simple problem more difficult for an individual traveler.
Our travelers have access to an experienced support staff, professional local partners, guides, transportation providers, hotels, and other contacts who understand how things work in Peru and know who to contact when assistance is needed. These are relationships and professional resources that a casual traveler may simply not have access to.
