Five Legendary Scottish Highlands Golf Courses

Discover the unforgettable experience of playing links golf in the Scottish Highlands. Our carefully planned Scotland golf tour features five distinctive rounds across three playing days, including two rounds at Royal Dornoch and visits to the historic courses at Tain, Golspie, and Brora. Each course offers its own combination of coastal scenery, Scottish golf heritage, and memorable challenges.

Royal Dornoch Championship Course

The crown jewel of our Scottish Highlands golf tour, the Royal Dornoch Championship Course is regarded as one of the world's great links courses. Set along the shores of the Dornoch Firth, this spectacular championship layout combines sweeping coastal views, natural contours, elevated greens, and demanding approaches. Old Tom Morris extended the course to 18 holes in 1886, helping shape one of Scotland's most celebrated golfing destinations. Playing Royal Dornoch Championship is a bucket-list experience for golfers who appreciate the traditions and challenges of authentic links golf.

Royal Dornoch Struie Course

Often overshadowed by its famous neighbor, the Royal Dornoch Struie Course is a rewarding links experience in its own right. Its natural terrain, strategic shot-making opportunities, and expansive Highland views provide an enjoyable introduction to golf in Dornoch. Playing Struie and the Championship Course on the same day offers a memorable opportunity to experience two distinctive sides of Royal Dornoch.

Tain Golf Club

Designed by legendary Scottish golf architect Old Tom Morris, historic Tain Golf Club is affectionately known as his Northern Jewel. Founded in 1889, the course blends traditional links and heathland characteristics with views across the Dornoch Firth. Heather, gorse, burns, and deep pot bunkers create an engaging test of strategy and accuracy. Our visit to Tain is followed by a tour and whisky tasting at nearby Glenmorangie Distillery, combining two classic Highland traditions.

Golspie Golf Club

Set between the sea and the mountains, Golspie Golf Club offers one of the most varied golfing experiences in the Scottish Highlands. Influenced by renowned course designer James Braid, Golspie combines links, heathland, and parkland golf within a single memorable round. Changing terrain, thoughtful bunkering, and beautiful coastal and mountain views make it a distinctive addition to our Scotland golf itinerary.

Brora Golf Club

Founded in 1891 and later shaped by James Braid, Brora Golf Club captures the character of traditional Scottish links golf. This historic course follows naturally rolling coastal terrain, where the wind, firm turf, and creative shot-making are all part of the challenge. With its rugged Highland setting and authentic atmosphere, Brora provides a fitting conclusion to five memorable rounds of golf in northern Scotland.

Five Rounds. Three Playing Days. One Extraordinary Scottish Highlands Golf Experience. From the world-famous fairways of Royal Dornoch to the traditional coastal links of Brora, this small-group golf vacation brings together five exceptional courses in one carefully organized journey.

Following your round, visit the renowned Glenmorangie Distillery for a guided tour and whisky tasting. Discover the traditions behind one of Scotland's best-known Highland single malts.

Day 4: Golspie & Brora Golf Clubs

Enjoy another remarkable day of Highland golf with rounds at two distinctive coastal courses.

Begin at Golspie Golf Club, where links, heathland, and parkland characteristics combine in a memorable setting between the sea and the mountains.
