This is not a rushed holiday shopping trip or a big-bus tour that tries to squeeze too much into too little time. We stay long enough in both Québec City and Montréal to enjoy the Christmas season at a comfortable pace.
You’ll spend three nights at the iconic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in the heart of Old Québec and two nights at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth in Montréal. Both hotels put you exactly where you want to be, close to the holiday atmosphere, shopping, restaurants and major sights.
Between the two cities, we travel VIA Rail Business Class, with reserved seating, lunch and refreshments included. It is a far more relaxing way to travel than spending much of the day on a motorcoach.
Our group is limited to just 12–16 travelers, making it easier to get around, stay together and enjoy a more personal experience. Many of our guests travel solo, and our small groups make it easy to meet fellow travelers without feeling as though you are part of a large organized tour.

Just as importantly, we build in free time. You can browse the Christmas markets, stop for a leisurely lunch, explore a neighborhood, shop, visit a museum or simply enjoy the holiday atmosphere at your own pace.
